Pastor

Pastor Tammy R. Linningham is a native of Tennessee and currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to pastoring, she works at St. Joseph Medical Center, her employer for 36 years.

Pastor Tammy studied Human Services at Longview Community College and attended Central Baptist Theological Seminary from 2016 to 2018. Her seminary journey continues.

She was just eight-years-old when she accepted Christ.

She started playing the electric bass guitar at the age of 14. As founder of the church youth choir, she established her first music ministry, and they traveled with the pastor. Pastor Tammy has produced gospel recordings, written gospel songs, and engineered both studio and live recordings.

Pastor Tammy began pastoral leadership in 1991 as Co-Founding Co-Pastor of There Is Hope Fellowship Centre. During her time there, she served as Church Administrator and Sunday School teacher, transportation leader, and as leader of various small groups until approximately 2011.

In 2019 – along with her wife, Royce Dunn – she became the Founding Senior Pastor of Wellsprings Kingdom Church. When Wellsprings meets in person, it does so at Southwood U.C.C. in Raytown, Missouri.

On January 1, 2023, Pastor Tammy accepted the call to pastor Zion United Church of Christ in St. Joseph, MO.

Pastor Tammy’s vision is that everyone knows they have a right to a relationship with God. Justice, equity, and opportunity are needed for the marginalized, LGBTQ+, the homeless, the abused, and others who are socially disenfranchised.
