Begun in the spring of 2002 the group hand-crafts Prayer Quilts. These are created for all ages and circumstances:  current and chronic medical conditions, adjusting to changes in life style, new babies, and other varying needs.

The project began with a gift of $100 from the missions group of the Missouri Mid-South Conference of the United Church of Christ.  The gift was accompanied with a challenge:  How can you use this money to lift up God’s work in the world?

Through on-going gifts of money and materials, to-date 1,237 + prayer quilts have been given locally and, for that matter, around the world.
